Diet culture severs your connection to your body. Mindfulness is the path back to yourself – to trusting your body and your inner knowing. And to treating yourself with kindness and respect.

Mindfulness… paying attention on purpose, in the present moment, without judgment.

Healing your relationship to food and body and learning to care for yourself are largely a process of awareness.

We’ll use simple mindfulness practices in one-on-one sessions to discover what hunger and fullness feels like to you, to explore foods that bring you true satisfaction, and to learn to recognize your own needs and feel emotions.

Teaching yoga is a joy and an honor!. Please note that yoga offerings are separate from Food + Body Therapy work.

Yoga, a form of mindfulness practice, facilitates a gentle reconnection of your mind and body. It has the potential to bring you into your immediate present with openness and acceptance. It is a practice that will meet you where you are – at any ability or size.

Please join Julia for a group class.

You are welcome in group classes, workshops, and retreats any time as an ancillary practice on your food and body healing journey.
